The most notable boxing and MMA races are hard to rank. What one thinks is the best match is completely different from the rest or judged?

Regardless, here are some of the best fights we have ever fought.

Joe Schilling vs. Simon Marcus

During the Glory 17 Middleweight tournament, Joe Schilling one of the most exciting and talented fighters in the world, faced an equally talented Simon Marcus in the quarter-finals, and the fans expected nothing but fireworks.

Joe trashed the Simon in the 1st round but after being dropped in the 2nd and realizing he’s behind, Joe entered the beast mode!  After the 3rd Round both fighters started exploding and throwing everything they’ve got left inside! JJoe Shilling caught Marcus coming in with the perfect right hook, knocking the Simon out in the last 15 seconds!

ALI VS. ANTONIO INOKI

Dubbed as “A War of the Worlds” this was one of the most famous fight between American professional boxer Muhammad Ali and Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki, held in Tokyo, Japan on June 26, 1976. Fight had ended in draw which started the debate that is still going. 

 Mike Zambidis vs. Chahid Oulad El Hadj

A matchup between the multiple kickboxing World champion Mike Zambidis and the Chahid Oulad was supposed to be just another day at the office for the Greek fighter. Both fighters blasting each other for 12 minutes holding their ground, absorbing a massive amount of punishment and knocking each other down many times is completely insane! 

 SUGAR RAY ROBINSON VS. JAKE LA MOTTA

Rivalry between Robinson and La Motta 'The Raging Bull is probably one of the most prominent in combat sports history! The two have fought an incredible 5 times! Their bouts were always incredible and nail biting to watch but 13 round war for the Middleweight title held at Chicago Stadium on  February 13, 1951 received a nickname “St. Valentine’s Day Massacre” for many reasons.

 Fedor Emelianenko vs. Mirko Filipovic

We have seen alot of moemorable and amazing knockout in the history of MMA and Kick boxing but the bout happened between Fedor Emelianenko and Mirko Filipovic on August 28, 2005 in Saitama, Japan will go down in history as the greatest one! Both fighters were in their prime and were ready to thrash their opponents in no time

MICKY WARD VS. ARTURO GATTI

The first meeting between Mickey Ward and Arthur Gatty is a classic example of that when two great boxers comes together to dominate and win then the resultant clash will become the greatest boxing match in history. The same happened on May 18, 2002 in Mohegan Sun Area, Montville, Connecticut, USA. They both enjoyed their moments and needless to say they hit it off! Both fighters apparently planned a mission to prove their strength and make a statement by knocking each other out.
